Strange things

Took a different route to work today and was pulled into a passing place to let an oncoming car travelling at light speed past when I noticed this is a field. A quick glance around and I noticed quite a few scattered about. I am not sure what they are but water towers, albeit small ones or remnants from WW2 sprung to mind but really not sure. I will have to investigate further.
