Sleeping beauty

I know she's mine so I'm biased bit I think that face is just perfect! Been out of blipping action for a while, just been really busy and a bit uninspired to be honest.

My delivery suite placement ends on Saturday. I'm truly gutted about this because I have absolutely loved every minute of it! Must have shown too because I had my grading on Monday and I got 85, a very high first!! My mentor even described me as an 'outstanding student'! Nobody has ever called me outstanding before, needless to say I was very chuffed. And also quite blown away!

Not much else to report really, it was Chris's birthday the other day. To celebrate I made a roast pork dinner, we watched Breaking Bad and drank wine. It's not often I drink on a school night and I suffered a bit for it the next day. I went to parents evening last week and, as usual, my children seem to be doing really well. I sometimes wonder if teachers just say that to all the parents, whether they're doing well or not! Still, I left feeling very proud of my two little bookworms. Reading is the subject they both excell in. Hopefully Lucy will follow in their footsteps.
