River Run 2014

The River Run was this morning! We both got up at 6am because Jimmy needed to be at the stadium by 7:30 and I had a job fair at mayo at 8. He was really cute getting ready and he was already getting excited before he left. Supposedly the traffic was terrible but he made it with time to spare and ran the whole race with Ryan and Chuck. It was fun to see their pictures and hear all the funny details. I would have liked to have gone, but maybe next year will be better.
I spent the morning at Mayo for a job fair thing. They had four different stations set up and we got to refresh on a lot of skills. There was a deteriorating patient, CXR interpretation, central line placement, and suturing workshops. It was fun but there wasn't a lot of jobs there that I wanted. It was all surgery, which is cool and all, I just don't want to be in the OR. So we will see how it goes, I'm optimistic that something good will play out.
After our morning we took naps and then headed over to Mark and Peggy's house because Trevor came home with his school friends for spring break. It was fun to see everyone and hang out. I really enjoyed it all and we are planning on going back tomorrow. The boys all leave for their cruise on Monday so tomorrow will be our last chance to see everyone again before graduation.
