Bella, bella

The morning got off to an appropriate start with a sensation of juicy Sicilian Blood Oranges.

I spent much of today recording a Book of the Week for Radio 4: The Land Where Lemons Grow by Helena Atlee. All about the Italian love affair with citrus fruits, it'll go out across the week of 21st April. A lovely, sunny and fact-filled book, brilliantly read by Francesca Dymond (who is half Italian).
