Door Plates Scottish Gallery of Modern Art 2
The door plates caught my as the right plate contrasting sharply to the one on the left because the mirrored surface is reflecting the back ground behind my left shoulder. The right plate reflecting the trees, the left the dull grey sky. The left door is slightly ajar as a couple of people have just walked through, accentuating the angle of light hitting the door.
1 shot, 2 identical door plates on the glass door entrance to the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art 2. Several angles to bend the light. One inch either way alters the image. But that's the fun of it.
No processing required to make this image black and white, just a dull day in Edinburgh.
