Future sound of Music

Here are Alf and Stan before their performances at the school concert. I think they were both a little nervous ;)

All of the performances were excellent, we had everything from funk drumming (excellent work Tom) to trombones and all sorts in between every single one of them was brilliant. Some of the children had only been playing their instruments for a few weeks. Very impressive stuff.

I was very proud of Alf, not only did he play his solo song he also played with two younger boys who he introduced, counted in and led.

In Paul news.. the operation went well although took a bit longer than they expected because the thyroid was more swollen than they thought. Anyway he is joking via facebook so this is good. I'll hopefully speak to him properly before the end of the week.

Right, time for wine and maybe some chips (A minor blip in the no carb thing).
