Cough, splutter. . . . . . . .

Residents who live close to the airport have had a few sleepless nights lately. This is the plant machinery that has recently sprung to life as the authorities begin the resurfacing work on one of the runways. During the hours of darkness these chimneys cough their way into life as they spill their noxious fumes into the night sky, which despite everything still tries to sparkle brightly.

Nature tries so hard to resist everything man throws at it and to still come out smiling the next day.
