Pinching the Plant

Aubretia is such a lovely colour and it always seem as if sprig has come once the aubretia flowers. Unfortunately, we do not have any of our own so I have to covet next door's. So, when our neighbour came home from work today, I was kneeling on the drive trying to get a decent picture of his aubretia. We've also just tried to "macro" and failed completely apart from getting another funny look from our very nice neighbour. Super handyman husband has decreed that we might have to look at the manual! Zut alors! Unheard of!

I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know that my Dad is going to pay for me to go on a half day photography course for my birthday. I expect to be David Bailey, or at least Tussock or Molly by the end of it.
