THE STUFF OF NIGHTMARES

I hate buying shoes. I've been wearing my old favourites (three pairs) for about 15 years and they're definitely looking somewhat disreputable so I thought I'd check out what's available now. But shoe shops have the same effect on me as Christmas muzak and I have to get out as quickly as possible and go and find a coffee shop. Oh well, another 15 years. Perhaps if I clean them….
