AND THE WINNER IS ....... SKIPTON!

Official, The Sunday Times has voted Skipton the best place to live in Britain.

I don't actually live in Skipton, but a little village outside the town, and I would have had trouble not voting for the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, but I have never regretted moving here from Surrey, on a bit of a whim, 20 odd years ago.

But don't all rush at once!
