Doha Day 25

The Qatari flag.
The white part symbolises peace. The maroon colour symbolises blood shed during wars, particularly those in the second half of the 19th century. The 9 point serrated line indicates that Qatar is the 9th member of the "reconciled Emirates" of the Persian Gulf at the conclusion of the Qatari - British Treaty in 1916.
