Special Place
Well my photography has charged around all over the place today. Started with the mist amongst the trees at the park as we walked, then to more fungi after which I went into Timaru this afternoon. Whilst there visited my very lonely brother in law who lost his wife, my precious sister in law in October and then on to visit a very close friend who was widowed in December. She is shifting from her beautiful home with its extensive garden to a much more manageable sized house and garden. She said I have a fantail for you to photograph it will come and land on a hand held stick. Down the garden we went, the fantail said no way I only come in my time, so my attention turned to the giant Gunnera flowers but my final choice is this patch of native tree ferns for sentimental reasons. These tree ferns I had given them from my garden after the death of my husband and how they have grown. they are a native of NZ and so beautiful when seen in our native bush.
