Pre-season training

After day 3 of the new locus position I had another warm evening run. This time, I ran through the parks to Coxs Bay and then back. Very pleasant.

On one of the fields in Coxs Bay Park a coach was taking a group of schoolboys through a series of exercises as part of pre-season training. Sprinting backwards and forwards over a short distance, with sharp turns at each end. Here they had just been told to drop to the ground, do a push-ip, then get back to the feet and continue the run. Also to do a push-up at each end of the run.

I really like the varied ways in which the boys completed their assignment.

They will have been very hot by the end of the training session.
