Monarch feeding on sage

Saw this in the garden in the middle of baking a cake, had to abandon cake and dash for the camera - managed a couple of shots, and then off he went, fluttering over the neighbours and away.

Just realized this is my 1400th photo - certainly never expected to go on for this long - and my husband has bought me a life membership for my birthday in a months time..............
