A Day Out

Today we took our granddaughter out for the day . The weather wasn't too good so we decided to visit Dunham Massey Hall, which during World War One was used as a military hospital. To celebrate the Centenary it has all been recreated for an event called 'Sanctuary from the Trenches'. Highly recommended.

We had a bracing walk through the Deer Park before visiting the exhibition, followed by Eve's favourite bit, lunch in the National Trust Cafe.
