I knew today was going to be a long one when Chris got up early for work and both children woke up at the same time and started crying almost immediately about one thing or another. Amelie is obviously still adjusting to the move and Isaac is teething. I'm still exhausted from the house move so feeling like a boring and impatient mummy at the moment...

I knew we needed to get out this afternoon rain or no rain and so after lunch we got ready and off we went. We walked down towards RAF Henlow and I found the post office. We then kept walking and I found the other school. The one I thought i might have to get a bus to! And it's closer than the village school, so that was quite good. Think we will need to make an appointment to view the place. Then on our way back we detoured a bit to go and have a walk in the fields but ended up finding a park! Turns out it's military owned but not fenced off so I'm guessing we were ok to play there... We didn't get arrested anyhow (this time)

When we got home we had a quick snack and I prepped dinner (shepherds pie) Amelie and Isaac were exhausted so I gave them an early dinner...Isaac was trying to go for a poo in his nappy all through dinner. I kept giving him food as he wasn't going in the bath until he had gone! He did do I changed him and put him in the bath. But turns out I misjudged it! He wasn't finished....


Anyway they ended up having a lovely (clean) bath and an early night. I glossed a cupboard door and a radiator in their future new room thenChris ran me a bath which was lovely.
