Tufted Duck (male)

Although with those eyes you might be forgiven for thinking it was Count Duckula.
As with most birds, the male is the glam, flashy one and the female is comparatively drab.
We took a drive over to Linlithgow this afternoon for some fresh air. It has been another busy day but much was accomplished including a quick pop-in to see Ali, Euan and Eve. Eve entertained us, toddling round wearing her Dad's beanie. She does love hats! She has now learned to give high-fives and happily remonstrated this new skill. Cute!
