Ladies who lunch!

Robin took this shot of Sarah and I as we departed for a spot of shopping and a posh afternoon tea (as our lunch).

As we totally stuffed ourselves we reflected on the days of Downton Abbey when people would have had a full breakfast at about 9, luncheon at 1, afternoon tea at 4 and several courses of dinner at 8......how on earth did the women stay slim for their gorgeous flapper dresses?
