Flip-Flops do float

Up early, packed the car with all our gear and headed straight for the Botanical Gardens. Spent a couple of hours wander around the grounds, lots of blooming roses. Had some lunch and then set of for our hotel near the airport – not impressed with the accommodation in Auckland. Once we got the cases etc. into the room we set off to return the rental car to the airport rental office - then back to the hotel to sort out the contents of the case, dinner and an early night as we have to be up at 5:30am tomorrow morning to catch our flight to Singapore. Blip – originally it was just the view I liked and then I saw the flip flop floating along on the surface of the lake.
