Third Tuesday

On the third Tuesday of every month we have our lunch date with friends. This month our venue was "The Barley Mow". They serve Thai food here as well as traditional pub food so it suits all tastes.
The central part of the building was originally a cottage, built in the mid sixteenth century. By 1598 it was an alehouse and was extended at both ends. In its time it has been called The Mount Eagle and The Harrow. Later there was added a brewhouse and a building for storing and malting barley.
