A Long Weekend

Following a very long weekend of socialising there were a couple of casualties. This victim, whom we shall call "Jed", descended on Glasgow from Harris to support Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup Final.

Aberdeen beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle on penalties, allowing their fans to celebrate the club's first cup victory for 19 years. Clearly the long wait to celebrate silverware was all too much for "Jed" and the partying caught up with him. Hopefully he will manage to make his flight home tomorrow.

I must say this has been a fantastic weekend and it was great to spend it with so many people from Lewis and Harris. We sure know how to ceilidh!
