Tranquility....marred

The ageless waters of the River Derwent flow softly away into another day's twilight. Geese nestle down for the night along it's banks, while ducks and other water fowl play awhile in the murmuring currents.
Beautiful...
Until the local bored and mindless youth think it would be a fine idea to throw some barriers down the bankside!!
Bring back conscription I say.
