Someone cares

I pass this field most days if I am on my way back from the moor to Morton and I've noticed that it contains some what appear to be moorland ponies. Today I noticed a great kerfuffle going on in the field and pulled over to have a look,

These ponies which appear to be wild moorland ones, were about to be fed by a farmer. Now most farmers try to keep the ponies out of their grazing land and this one had obviously given them a home for the winter and is still feeding them.

I believe that this must be one of the Moorland Pony charities who are doing their bit to keep the breed going, What ever, someone cares
