Year 40, day 133
If we're talking "things that catch my eye" (and we are), then I should have recorded the undulations in my mother's check jacket at the lunch table, or got up from hosting dinner to capture bright red maple twigs against the fading light.
Instead, I had to go prowling at a few minutes to midnight in order to fulfil my blipligation.
This is my grandmother's peg bag, which I inherited. I've no idea where she got it - it looks vaguely Eastern European, but I could be way off. I love the colours and the bold strips of pattern.
