Went in for a brief foray in consumer hell today - came away with nothing but a sigh of relief.

Then headed for a cathartic walk in Dronley Woods. The sun was going down and the wind was bitter cold. Made me wonder (again) why we put ourselves through this nonsense every year, made me think about those kids in Afghanistan...

Was good to come home to a cup of hot chocolate and warm fires.
