Sweet Potato Sky and the Very Blustery Day...

Today we woke up early (for a Sunday) and has breakfast in bed...aaahhh. :) Jamie Oliver Eggy Crumpets and bacon. Yum.

The List had said that the Scottish Sea Bird Centre in North Berwick was free today as a result of the ending Homecoming celebrations and St Andrews day, so we thought we'd take a mosey on out there despite the freezing cold weather and biting cold. We had a really lovely walk along the main street there though, all the little trinket type shops have their Christmas decorations out which were all very tempting, but I was good and didn't buy anything.

We walked up to the beach area and saw two (crazy) people on jetskis dossing about in the water. The waves were absolutely huge and crashing down and we didn't miss the irony of this really dangerous sport happening right next to the Lifeboat station there... I assume they knew what they were doing though since they didn't capsize once...

Sauntered up the Bird Centre to find they weren't letting people in free (damn you The List) so walked back down. As interesting as I'm sure puffins are, I'm not paying eight quid to watch them on a monitor. Particularly since I've since been told you can watch the same cams online for free...

Planning on a nice quiet night in and having goose wrapped in bacon with mash for dinner. :) Seems like all I ever Blip about is food or cats....worrying.
