Worm moon

Apparently last night's full moon was a worm moon, described thus on spaceweather.com (thanks to my mum for the link):

"It signals the coming of northern spring, a thawing of the soil, and the first stirrings of earthworms in long-dormant gardens. Step outside tonight and behold the wakening landscape. "Worm moonlight" is prettier than it sounds."

They're not kidding. The moon has been absolutely stunning for the last three evenings - full, proper nursery-rhyme style man-in-the-moon face on display, an amazing colour, and casting the most beautiful light over everything.

Unfortunately, I lack the technical equipment and know-how to take a decent photo of it... But I can't resist trying!
