Kaiya

This is my best friends daughter. I love her. I love my best friend. I saw her three times this week. Once in Austin, twice in Ft. Worth and it wasn't enough. I adore her and I am so thankful for the ways that life lends itself to lifelong. I could not bear it without her. Kaiya turned two this week. I remember when her mom was a freshman in college and now she's raising a beautiful 2 year old with grace, peace and more energy than I think I could ever have. I am so humbled by her humor, pragmatism, and ability to not take herself too seriously. Maybe she could raise me?
