Insomnia

A very long time ago, when I was a psychology student, we were regularly coerced into taking part in various research studies. I once 'volunteered' to take part in a sleep deprivation experiment. The researchers were investigating the psychological effects of sleeplessness - hallucinations, paranoia, disorientation. I can remember walking around afterwards experiencing colours and sounds much more vividly than normal.

Nowadays, although I'm used to prowling about in the middle of the night while sensible people are sleeping, I've recently been taking insomnia to whole new levels. So a sleep shop would be handy. One good night, a siesta and forty winks, please.
