Brilliant
prunus nipponica brilliant to be precise.
This is my gift to the bees. I got it in the garden centre on Joel's birthday on Saturday.
I made a bee line (<- ta dah!) for anything blossomy and/or flowering that would come back year after year in March and provide early flowers in the future.
I planted it in the ground this evening and once I'd watered it in, the sun came out and pushed itself through the gaps in the hedge and blessed it.
Brilliant.
Joel had his first driving lesson today. It sounds like he wasn't allowed to do much.
