Hainanese Chicken Rice

That was our dinner tonight and it tasted quite authentic.
The pastes mixes to make this arrived today from Singapore, together with mixes for Beef Rendang and Singapore Chicken Curry. Partly thanks to fellow Blipper Hsuf who remarked to me that maybe somebody could send me a packet of these, which made me find out if there wasn't an online shop selling these to overseas destinations.

And this afternoon I had lunch with my neighbour and a couple of her friends at an interesting new Asian fusion restaurant with a wok buffet, so it was all Asian fare for me today :-)
