St Patrick's Day parade...
...Ballydehob style.
One of the joys of living in West Cork is that things are kept simple and local. So the Paddy's Day parade involves local people unpretentiously enjoying themselves.
Ballydehob is a small town near the coast. The main street sits on a hill so the parade goes down the hill, turns round and comes back up again, so you get to see it twice. This year all the buildings had signs showing their owners and trades as they were in 1914.
