Bedroom with a view (1)

…of a tree that has loomed large in my life for many years and affects my mood. It’s the first thing I see when I open my curtains in the morning. It dominates what I see from where I’m sitting now when I look up from my computer. I stared at it for many hours, for many days, for many years when I was a freelance journalist working from home.

I’ve uploaded a couple of similar shots taken before I joined blip. I like my pre-blip shots. I don’t like this one but I hope it will work as part of a series: a year in the life of my view of this tree as it changes with the seasons, the weather and the time of day. The second in the series appears on 16th March 2014 just two days after this one and there’s already a difference.
