Chimney Owl

I discovered this OWL several weeks ago and at first thought it was real. When I saw it in exactly the same position the next day I realised it was a statue. It stands atop a chimney five-storeys up. I decided today was the day to capture it! It's a dull, cloudy day so probably not the best day for my decision. Also I can't get any other angle because of houses and other buildings making it impossible to vary my position. I don't know it's history, but I have read somewhere that builders do put memorial objects in or on buildings sometimes. In an old house I bought once I found a 20 dollar American banknote - I was knocking a wall down and an envelope fell out containing the note. Once in a life time experience probably!
