Backblip

We left Auckland early morning and jumped on a plane down to Christchurch in preparation for Faye and Lewis' Big Wedding Weekend. We managed to get to our rental car OK, and then booshed on down to Akaroa, an hour and a half South of Christchurch.

We'd been through here on our travels in our campervan Mo a few years back and I'd remembered it as an amazing drive around the ridge of the volcanic crater. As you can see, it's still pretty amazing!!

We arrived at the wedding lodge and hung out all day with other wedding guests, helping to prepare 16 crayfish and other bits and bobs for the pre-wedding Barbecue!! When the sun went down, everyone gathered around the sunken firepit to keep warm!

Awesome night, and it was great to meet so many great people ready for the main event!
