Evening by the pond

A beautiful end to a mixed day. Scarlet was off for her first long day in a highly stressful new job, so we had to get up before sparrow's to feed the ponies so she could get to work on time. It went very well considering she only managed about 5 hours sleep last night.
I had to go to the dentist to get my front tooth fixed - painful both in my mouth and my wallet. I don't know how they get away with the exorbitant rates they charge. She did a damned fine job though, so the expense will fade away as a bad memory.
The evening with the horses was delicious, so all has ended well and my upper lip is no longer smarting from all the injections I had.
