The Treadwheel Crane

This old crane was moved from Parkeston Quay to Harwich Green some years ago. The crane was operated by men who walked inside a giant wheel rather like one used by hamsters. It's very difficult to get a decent photo of it because it's surrounded by railings ,notices, park benches ,rubbish bins and wonky lamp posts . A little artistic licence was required !
