Fat Lad At The Back

Marshalled at Bradford 10k , this is one of the guys from my local Parkrun who is always more than happy to pose for the camera . Apparently this t shirt is from a company of the same name -who knew there was a market for such stuff!

It was brilliant marshaling , have only really started this the last year and I have some very warm happy moments from interactions with people , mainly ones at the back who I hadn't realised were so grateful to have marshals keeping them going . I know it's a truism but doing things like this is such a nice thing to do and gives you a little inner glow . I am not going to talk about all the details but sufficient to say there was one woman's run that will keep me smiling for days .

Thank you runners for making my morning and if it's any consolation I felt your pain later when I went for a fell run , fell over and have had to perform minor surgery on my own toe and have a golf ball sized lump on my knee - modelling career well and truly over ! Xx
