Hey Mum I've got an itch!!

A day on the outskirts of Auckland as we visited Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and then the Zoo. Thanks to the Christchurch lady blippers for the recommendations. It was beautiful weather again, a pleasure to be out doors.

At Kelly Tarlton's a film was being shown of a marine scientific expedition to the Ross Sea on the Tangaroa, out of Wellington. We didn't see the start of it, but sat for a good 20 minutes watching until the end....fascinating!!!

We haven't done the city centre attractions, as we did those last time.

Last night we found a good Indian restaurant, so to save wasting time driving round to find somewhere else, we will be going back tonight.

We are in a weird motel!! The room is like any standard hotel room with tea / coffee making facilities, but not a kitchen area as you normally get in motels. The cooking area is communal in the dinning room. I cooked our breakfast, porridge, there this morning and we were the only ones partaking!!

The wifi is weird as well. We paid for 165 megabytes last night, which only lasted for the 10 or so minutes to upload our 2 blips. We have a second token for today, so fingers crossed that we get more for our bucks!!!

We have a 6hr wait at Sydney Airport on Wednesday, so if I don't get any comments done in the meantime, I will catch up on their free (I hope) internet connection.
