morning mist

Packed the car and headed off in the mist. As often happens, when we got over Dunmail Raise the weather changed and we were treated to lovely views for a while (turned nasty again approaching Carlisle). 

My husband surprised me by asking if I wanted him to park by Thirlmere so I could get a photo.  Jumped at the chance but wasn't too long incase he didn't offer again!

There's just a layer of mist here above the reservoir that was lingering.
