Open space!

We are having some windows changed out. The installers worked all day yesterday and all day today, so very hard. This is an opening ready to install the new bank of louvers. This morning dawned clear, sunny and blue skies, with the winds dropping throughout the day. Amazing feeling to see that openness, quite exciting really. Let the breezes blow! We had quite a few slamming doors which were really loud as usual furniture is out making for an echo-y space that I don't remember hearing since we moved in. You never know what you'll find when you start ripping things out, but this went quite well. Now we're seriously thinking of doing the other ones.
