New Dress

A wonderfully lazy, stay-at-home sort of day.

I went out at one point to get a blip and visit a new café but found I didn't need to leave Porty at all. I ran into the artist I met a few weeks back and then ran into an old neighbour. I was taking photos of the artist and she said 'take a photo of my new dress' so she inadvertently gave me my blip. She then invited me in for tea - absolutely wonderful.

I then joined Dr T with some local friends to talk about the referendum. We had originally hoped to have a campfire on the beach but the winds and the blowing sand dictated that we should end up in a pub instead. Lots of people with different political views sharing their opinions, questions and concerns in a lovely, supportive atmosphere. I hope this sort of friendly discussion of the referendum is going on all over the country. Politics is much too important to be left to the politicians.
