Strange weird beastie

This is the mark 0.01 toadguy ringlight. For those unfamiliar with the term it's like a ring flash. Coming from the world of film/video I wanted a solution that could be used for video as well as stills - but didn't cost the earth(proper film version costs £1500). Using some LED xmas lights I made this, it's a proof of concept and I'm going to make it more solid but I wanted to test out the idea. Total cost so far £8.

I do have some photos taken with it but they're are all close ups of me and there are some things the world of blipfoto is just not ready for.
