Central Scotland

This is the view looking east from the Yellow Craig above Logie. In the distance are the Pentland Hills, the chimney on the left is Longannet Power Station and on the right can be seen the Grangemouth petrochemical complex. In the foreground are the bonded warehouses of Cambus in which are stored vast quantities of whisky.
There was a real spring feel to the day and the walk from Logie up to the Sheriffmuir road then back via Yellowcraig wood was done with fairly dry underfoot conditions...quite a change.

Home to watch the second half and more of the League Cup Final. Not a classic but Aberdeen probably just deserved to win. I had some sympathy though with ICT....it really would have been a wonderful achievement for this club to have won a trophy given what they have achieved in their 20 or so years in existence
