it was a lazy day today and very nice it was too. i took this when i went out to the shop for eggs to make yorkshire puds tomorrow. the sky out was amazing. a heavy table of dark grey cloud overhead, disappearing to its own horizon, above the real one, leaving a band of blue sky holding on between the grey and the land. the sun shone along this gap and created some pretty interesting shadows.
i guess what i like most is the shapes. the way one shade is allowed in, one kept back. how a bit looks like a keyhole (to where?) and who knows who that is over on the left? lots of fun to be had with light eh?
