I'm A Sucker For A Starburst

My grandson arrived here at lunchtime with my daughter after winning his football game seven goals to nil. I had to scour the bathroom for spiders before he would shower. :)

We went to Rye House karting track to get some pics for Ol's Media Studies project. My daughter couldn't contain herself, she wanted to go straight onto the track. Not today. We borrowed a suit and got our shots. We felt like we were on holiday with the beautiful sunny weather.

I tried panning. Not completely successful, the kart could have been sharper but I think this method does convey speed. It was the natural starburst that clinched this shot for me. I was shooting into the sun which is never that easy. My son was into photography thirty years ago, before digital, and often used a starburst filter. Lovely when a starburst occurs naturally. :)
