what you see is what you get

Our kitchen Saturday night as is, busy and messy. Not a magazine kitchen this one.

Other than that, rain all day.

Had another little volunteer photography job again, this time kids' piano recital. I love photographing these families and taking part in their little big occasions of their lives. Such a lovely friendly atmosphere again, teaches me a lot about positive attitude. Once again, had to shoot right towards the window and with high iso which is not something I enjoy so much.
Note to self: arrive early to get you a spot where you can actually see the piano players. Otherwise you end up taking pictures of the piano with the kids hiding behind or the back of the kid playing. Didn't want to squeeze in front of any proud parent so had to take a spot sitting on a corridor, not so optimal. A second note to self, no worries because after the recital during the social part the kids were playing happily again, now much more relaxed and you can find any good spot for getting the pictures you want without disturbing the audience.
