Spring Lambing Day

H's prize for winning Free Radio's Thingymijig Junior competition was a pass for Spring Lambing Day, held at the Walford campus of Walford & North Shropshire College. We've had a great day out, there were lambs, calves, meercats, birds of prey, alpacas, snakes, spiders, and many others with lots of activities as well, it's also been a beautiful warm sunny day. H and her cousin took a shine to the cows and spent most of their time with them. Hard to choose what to blip, but it's got to be a lamb really, this one's 3 days old, some had only been born earlier today, not something we'd usually get to see.

As she'd won a competition, H had special permission from the shepherd to hold a lamb, she's now all over their Facebook page, and will feature in the brochure next year. She also received a voucher to be a Keeper For A Day so we'll be heading back during the holidays.
