Crow on a fence

Sometimes I wish I had a 500mm zoom lens. Then I remember I'd have to carry it.

Saw small tortoiseshell and brimstone butterflies on the wing today. Both species have apparently done very well as a result of last year's long hot summer. Sadly, I didn't capture a good picture of either.

Still feeling vaguely down, which is completely unreasonable of me because the weather is beautiful and I have a lovely life.
