Canal Walk

The sun was shining, flowers blooming, water sparkling and all this on a weekend too! I'd gone out with the intention of blipping some more wrecks in the boat graveyard at Purton but couldn't resist capturing this springtime scene while walking alongside the adjacent Sharpness Canal. I also bumped into a former colleague who'd retired a few years back; so nice to catch up.

Good news too from Bournemouth where daughter Danielle has been performing over the last two days at the National Baton Twirling Championships regional competition. In her solo events she had three firsts and a second, with a first in their duet. We're so proud.

All in all a great weekend.
